Why Losing Your Edge is GOOD FOR YOU

Today we are talking about accessing a new level of consciousness & achieving serious flow.
But here's the catch: it requires you to "lose your edge."
Now, before you jump to conclusions, let me assure you that it's not what you might initially think.
Ironically, many of my clients begin their journey with me in the pursuit of “gaining an edge” through hypnosis. They seek:
heightened creativity, focus & motivation
unshakable resilience, ninja-like adaptability
amplified EQ for high-quality decision making
minimize survival states that delay execution
access a whole new state of consciousness, higher fulfillment, peace, happiness
taking massive action, breaking through to new levels
A serious quest for excellence.
Sounds great right?
Yet, at the same time, there's an underlying fear among my clients that they might lose their edge, specifically their motivation, focus, and drive.
This fear stems from the mistaken belief that the very anxiety driving them to achieve greatness is also responsible for anxiety, worry, overwhelm, stress, low self-esteem, and procrastination - in essence, the survival states they want to overcome.
But here's the crux of the matter: there's actually a benefit to this fear.
However, I'm not referring to the kind of fear that triggers the fight or flight response, designed to save your life.
No, we're focusing on the unproductive (subconscious) fear associated with survival states linked to the fear of failure, rejection, and low self-worth..
Your FEAR PROGRAM is incorrectly wired.
Subconsciously you have created an association that FEAR = DRIVE = MOTIVATION FOR SURVIVAL
It’s a crutch that people think they NEED and while it can drive you to create success, it is not necessary nor sustainable/enjoyable to live life like this.
So what type of EDGE do my clients get that is not rooted in survival and why does that lead to higher performance & fulfillment?
Here is the difference when you reprogram your mind.
If you have been following me for a while, you know that your brain has a limited capacity to process information. When it’s inundated with survival programs (junk), it can’t operate at full capacity for you to perform to reach your greatest potential. It’s just impossible.
99% of people will always be in survival & will legit never be happy in this lifetime due to scenario one:
Your whole life, you have been in survival, validation loops. The “never enough syndrome.”
This endless chase is driven by the belief that success and money define their identity, determining their level of happiness, which is why you feel unhappy matter how much success you create.
So you make subconsciously make decisions “to prove your worth”. That you are good enough and so that you will be liked and seen a certain way.
You also wear struggle and hardship like a badge of honour. Again “earning” your success, to prove that you deserve it.
However, you are not in control, as your external world is the primary motivator, deep down pushing you to avoid failure and rejection. This constant chase can make it feel like a relentless monster is pursuing you, without which you wouldn't have the drive to achieve the next level of success.
This approach, while it may seem like drive and motivation, takes a severe toll on mental and physical health. Living in constant fear is no way to lead a fulfilling life because you are ultimately not in control.
Now, here's where things get fascinating and how you can harness your brain's full potential to build a new, sustainable edge.
If you want to stop feeling like you're constantly battling obstacles as you climb the ladder of success (massive mental resistance), you must understand that you've subconsciously been practicing this way of life for your entire existence - it's deeply ingrained.
It's as if you've been living in a closed-off world, never knowing what lies beyond the boundaries of your fear
So what happens once you reprogram survival?

No more unwarranted fear caused by limited beliefs

However, since you're so accustomed to the survival mindset, it might initially feel like you've "lost something." And indeed, you have - an old identity that was not serving you.
The ability to choose for yourself (empowered conscious choices) is a new and somewhat uncharted territory.
But as this new way of living becomes normalized, your quality of life improves exponentially, leading to enhanced relationships, greater success, and personal happiness and fulfillment.
